"Meeting on Common Ground"
by Fred Ritchie

Meeing on Common Ground began with a series of articles that the author submitted to the Penticton Herald over the years. It is a collection of thoughts, experiences and facts he acquired through his journey of exploring, researching and listening to the Okanagan people of the Penticton Indian Reserve.

He has always had a great interest in bettering the relationship between First Nations people and mainstream society in this community. It is with good intention that he has put his thoughts and collective information in this book to foster a continual dialogue and mutual respect on common ground.
