"The Six Hole Ring Thing" by Trish Ratzlaff is the story of the famous Calgary mallard who got caught in some waste plastic. It is based on actual events that took place at Princes Island Park, in 1990. The story was closely followed by the media and re-enacted by the TV Show, Rescue 911, with William Shatner.This book is a tribute to the endangered wetlands in our communities. The intention is to become active as individuals, as to what can create problem's for our fellow creatures and the water sources that sustain them. Your imagination will be stimulated, and your awareness heightened on literal, transcendent, and symbolic levels.
